What is Balanced Method? Here at Paw Commons we are not tied to any one approach to train your dog. WHY? Because every dog is different. By using a multitude of different methods that work with your dog’s specific behavior and response, we can achieve the best results. This approach gives us a large number of training aids to achieve the proper Behavior Modification.

Sam Marti

Sam Marti has been in the animal professions for 8 years. He received his start in the doggie daycare environment and fell in love it. He has an interest in studying dog behavior and body language as well as educating pet parents as well. Working in this industry has taught him patience, accountability, and most importantly, to just have fun with the dogs and roll with the punches. Sam brings this to the dogs and clients works with as well.

Julia Gilkeson

Julia Gilkeson has been training and working with dogs since 2015. She believes that training is the process of growing and fostering a better relationship with our canine companions. It’s a process built of challenges and understanding for all involved, but one that stays with us for a lifetime of adventures. Julia has experience training canines for therapy, behavior modification and companionship. She is a Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Julia is an avid reader who enjoys sharing “fun” facts and curling up with a good book with her wife and their three dogs, Missy (Australian Shepherd Mix), Alice (Australian Cattle Dog Mix), and Buffy (Cocker Spaniel and Sharpei Mix also known as a Baby Hippo).
