Ethan Davidson, ABCDT
DOG TRAINER AT PAW COMMONS BAY PARK
Ethan is a Lead Dog Trainer at Paw Commons and has been a professional trainer since 2019. His passion for training began at a young age, but truly grew after adopting his dog Kona, whose behavioral challenges introduced him to the world of reactivity and rehabilitation. Working through that journey inspired Ethan to help other dogs and families facing similar struggles.
Ethan is a Certified Dog Trainer. He specializes in leash reactivity, confidence building, and behavior modification, using a LIMA-based approach that prioritizes trust, communication, and emotional well-being. He believes training should feel like a partnership, where dogs not only learn to listen to us, but also know that we are listening to them. Ethan ensures clients leave sessions with practical tools and a deeper understanding of their dog’s behavior.
Ethan specifically enjoys working through unique cases and dire behavioral circumstances. One of his most rewarding experiences was helping save a dog from the behavioral euthanasia list while working as a behavior consultant for the local humane society. Seeing that dog get adopted out after the changes they made together inspired him to continue to seek out dogs in need and to help them work through a variety of fears and/or traumas.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys sailing and spending time with Kona, his American Staffordshire Terrier mix who knows more than 30 cues.
