General Manager

Jordan is the General Manager and has been an essential part of the team for over a year. With more than two years of professional experience working with dogs, Jordan combines his passion for animals with strong leadership skills to create a safe, happy, and welcoming environment for every pet and their family.

Jordan’s love for animals began early, having grown up in a household filled with pets—at one point caring for as many as seven dogs. After building a successful career in the tech industry, he decided to pursue work that aligned with his personal passions. His transition into pet care was driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and their owners every day.

Throughout his career, Jordan has cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including those with unique health and behavioral needs such as seizure-prone dogs, stress-induced conditions, and anxiety-based behaviors. One of his most rewarding experiences was helping a cautious pit bull learn to trust again—transforming fear into friendship through months of patient, consistent care.

As General Manager, Jordan leads with empathy and hands-on involvement. He is committed to setting his team up for success so they can provide exceptional care to every dog at Paw Commons. His leadership philosophy is rooted in trust, teamwork, and community—ensuring that each location feels like a true home away from home for every dog in their care.

When working with clients, Jordan provides reassurance by holding Paw Commons to the same standard he expects for his own pets—because his own dog is often at the facility. His intuitive, compassionate approach helps dogs feel comfortable and secure, and he takes pride in forming genuine connections with both pets and their owners.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with his choodle, Titan Oceanus (Tito), and his sphynx cat, Kasha. He is passionate about creative hobbies including board games, video games, anime, and leading his own Dungeons & Dragons campaign as a game master. His dedication to fostering meaningful relationships—with both animals and people—makes him an integral part of the Paw Commons team.

Cassie

Salon Manager/Groomer

Cassie is the talented Salon Manager and Groomer at Paw Commons, bringing over 18 years of professional grooming experience and more than two decades in the pet care industry. Having been with Paw Commons for nearly eight years, Cassie has become a cornerstone of the salon team, known for her calm confidence, compassionate care, and exceptional grooming skills.

Raised on a small sustainable family farm, Cassie’s lifelong passion for animals naturally led her into a career focused on their well-being. From bathing a purebred wolf to soothing anxious or senior pets, Cassie approaches every dog with patience, understanding, and respect. Her favorite part of the job is simple yet profound—helping dogs look and feel their best while earning the trust of both pets and their owners.

Cassie takes pride in making every grooming experience as positive and stress-free as possible. She talks and sings to her canine clients, ensuring they feel heard and comforted throughout the process. Her keen attention to detail and dedication to safety once helped save a dog’s life when she discovered a lump that turned out to be cancer—an example of her thoroughness and care.

In addition to managing the salon, Cassie has trained new groomers and bathers, teaching them the importance of empathy, communication, and gentle handling. She believes that a calm, confident energy not only helps dogs relax but also builds trust between groomer and pet parent.

At home, Cassie shares her life with her 14-year-old cockapoo, Summer, a beloved Paw Commons favorite. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending festivals, taking weekend trips to Disneyland, and cheering on the San Diego Padres.

Cassie’s passion, skill, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the Paw Commons team—and she’s always ready to welcome your dog for a gentle, loving, and professional grooming experience.

Janetta N.

Groomer

Janetta is a talented Professional Dog Groomer bringing over 16 years of experience in the pet care industry, including 9 years as a professional groomer. She has been part of the Paw Commons family for over a year and continues to make an incredible impact through her patience, compassion, and expertise.

Her lifelong love for animals started in childhood — every photo of her as a kid featured a furry friend by her side. That deep connection naturally led her to a career in pet care, where she found her passion for grooming and her gift for helping dogs feel safe, loved, and beautiful.

Janetta holds multiple certifications, including Grooming School Certification, Creative Grooming Certification, Bichon Frise Breed Cut by Gabriel F., and CPR Certification for Dogs and Cats. She is committed to continued learning and professional development in the grooming industry.

She specializes in working with senior dogs, special needs pets, and high-maintenance breeds like doodles and Pomeranians. Her favorite breed to groom is the Leonberger, known for their gentle nature and massive size — one she once groomed entirely on the ground due to his size!

What Janetta finds most rewarding is seeing a nervous or fearful dog transform into a calm and happy one by the end of their visit. Her gentle touch, soothing voice, and immense patience help dogs feel comfortable and cared for.

Known among her team for her reliability and mentorship, Janetta always goes out of her way to support teammates and clients. With over 15 years of industry experience, she provides valuable guidance on safety practices, emergency preparedness, and proper handling techniques.

Janetta is deeply dedicated to ensuring every client’s peace of mind. She often takes before-and-after videos of dogs who are nervous during drop-off to show owners how relaxed and happy their pets become in her care. One of her most memorable experiences was reviving an 18-year-old dog using CPR, an act that reinforced her commitment to safety and compassion in every groom.

Outside of work, Janetta enjoys drawing, painting, taking dance classes, swimming, and traveling. She also has a soft spot for lost dogs and often helps reunite them with their owners. At home, she shares her life with Braxton, her loving black and white American Staffordshire Terrier, who may look tough but is truly a gentle giant.
With her extensive experience, gentle demeanor, and genuine passion for animals, Janetta ensures that every pet in her care feels loved, safe, and pampered.
